민족주의나 민주주의와 같은 이념들을 통해 적은 비용으로 자원을 사용할 수 있게 됐다고 책에서는 말한다. "낭만"이나 "꿈"과 같은 개념 아래에 안 될 것들을 되게 하였다. 내가 느끼기엔 그러한 것들이 젊은 세대들한테는 설득력을 잃어가는 것 같다. 이미 몇십년동안 써먹었던 템플릿이 지루해졌을 수도 있고, 우리 윗세대들이 살아왔던 대한민국과 지금 학생들이 살고 있는 한국은 많이 다르기 때문이지 않을까?
